Harlem Lacrosse Los Angeles

Harlem Lacrosse LA provides school-based academic intervention, leadership training, and lacrosse instruction to black and brown students located in the city of Compton, a severely impoverished community. Our participants and families are newly exposed to the sport and lack the financial capacity to allow their children the access to the game. Harlem Lacrosse eliminates the financial barriers by completely removing the financial responsibility associated with playing the sport of lacrosse. We completely cover all gear, equipment, tournament, and transportation costs. This grant will help us in continuing to grow and diversify the game of lacrosse by eliminating financial barriers for our participants and their families.
