Story Xperiential is a project-based storytelling and art program created by former Pixar and Khan Academy veterans. It allows students 13+ to create and exhibit their own stories using Pixar's renowned process, guided by industry professionals. Students can submit their finished storyreel (which they own) to a public exhibition celebrated three times per year: September, December, and May. Schedule: Story XP runs all year long. It is a self-paced, online program that fits any schedule. Youth can sign up and begin participating at any time throughout the year.

- 4 modules -- 15 hours
- Youth can work independently or collaborate as part of a team (we do not assist with team creation; must register as part of a team)

Program Outline:
Online Orientation - provides an overview, including how the program works and objective of the program
Module 1 -- Use the "What if...question to prompt interesting story ideas and introduction to effective feedback
Module 2 -- Developing your character profile and your character's arc
Module 3 -- Introduction to art concepts: using visual elements to communicate your story
Module 4 -- Using the story spine to create an outline for your story
The Core Story is complete after 4 modules. Next, youth create their storyreel!
Module 5 -- Act 1: Introduction to minor beats, shot types and methods to tell your story
Module 6 -- Act 2: Obstacles and storyboarding techniques
Module 7 -- Act 3: Story Structure and types of endings
