Campers will have a blast this summer at Hans Jensen Day Camp! Located right across from Lake Sammamish State Park, Hans Jensen Youth Camp is the perfect place for Campers to explore the outdoors, play, and make new friends!

Activities Thanks to our wonderful volunteers and staff, each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience, full of fun activities like some of the ones you will see below! Every week, campers will have a special theme that will inspire our special activities and guests. We encourage campers to try all of these wonderful activities and to share what they are passionate about too! Hans Jensen is a wonderful place to learn new camp traditions, cook meals, and enjoy the natural beauty all around!

This Program is intended for ages 5-13

Special Needs

For many kids with special needs, there are few summer camp options available. Some kids lack the independence needed to succeed in a traditional camp setting. It can also be hard to find special needs camps that offer just the right amount of support for kids whose abilities and needs fall on a wider spectrum.

Camp Fire was awarded a grant from Seattle Parks and Recreation’s 2013 Hope for Youth Grant Program. This grant will help to scholarship teens from undeserved Seattle communities to enroll in Camp Fire’s Junior Staff Thrive Leadership Training Program.
