Meadowbrook Swim and Tennis

Ground breaking for Meadowbrook Swim and Tennis took place on May 4th 1964 and was preceded by several years of labor and recruitment by Mr. Leo Kohler, known as Mr. Tennis on the Monterey peninsula, whose dream was to provide a place to teach and play tennis in a club like setting. His dream came true as the first club of its kind on the Monterey Peninsula was completed, and the club quickly became a popular tennis and swim destination for locals.

Building on a history of family recreation that began in 1930, Meadowbrook Swim Club provides one destination the whole family can enjoy.. Our members and athletes challenge limits and create opportunities to live happy and healthy lifestyles. In a clean and safe environment our members exercise independently or in a variety of classes with professional instructors. Friendly interaction among our management team and our members make goals more attainable and each visit a pleasant experience. Meadowbrook succeeds in balancing the needs of a diverse clientele year round as we continue to cherish our role as the premier summer pool in Central Maryland.
