Be a Swim Aide at the Pool

Join “The Team” as a volunteer Swim Lesson Aide with the City of San Mateo Aquatics program. It’s a great way to help others learn to swim while earning school or community service hours. By assisting our Swim Instructors with teaching swimming and water safety skills, you learn valuable job skills while having fun with your friends at Joinville Swim Center or King Community Pool. Swim Aides are required to complete the Swim Instructor Aide Course and volunteer for at least one 2-week session mid-June through mid-August.
