Since there are, 6 distinct chess pieces and students tend to get them confused. Chess Club uses its own, unique characters and analogies to bring these chess pieces to life for the students. These characters effectively spark the interest of students, getting them excited, and involved with the lessons!
We have the expertise and knowledge to teach all ages & skill levels. Teaching successful Chess Club at countless K-12 sites throughout the Bay Area for 3-decades.
SJ Chess Club class sizes may vary depending on school location.
The majority of our Chess Club classes have a 15 : 1 (or less) student-to-instructor ratio
Classes with staggered start & end times and those with cohorts of small groups have a 25 : 1 (or less) student-to-instructor ratio
Classes led by Chess Coaches with a US Chess Federation 'expert' rating or above are generally larger in class size (typical Elem. class size)
