Encore Winter League is a 10-week season that is designed for players to train fundamentals and compete similarly to our club teams. The program is designed for 4th through 8th grade players. Our Winter League will start with our mandatory Pre-Tryout Clinics followed by an official Placement Day on Saturday, February 3rd. Please plan to attend a mandatory parent meeting that will take place on Placement Day. Coaches will evaluate players at our Placement Day based on volleyball skills, team dynamics, and ability to execute drills. Our staff will then create teams that will represent Encore well and maximize each player’s individual potential. Team placement offerings will be extended by Monday, February 5th. We will max our rosters for our 4th-6th grade teams at 14, and our 7th-8th grade teams at 16 players.
The Winter League practices will officially begin the week of February 5th, and will conclude through the last tournament exclusively designed for their age group. The Winter League will have 4th-6th grade and 7th-8th grade girls teams with all teams typically practicing one to two times a week. Encore has also partnered with MVVC and WCVBA so our teams can experience local, healthy competition.
