Benefits of Summer Camp:
Programs available for young artists ages 4 - 18 offering training in acting, voice, dance, and technical theater in a 4-week day camp.
The first three weeks students train and rehearse at our studios in the city's West End. In the final week of camp, students will experience the excitement of performing in or working behind the scenes on a fully produced show!
The Lightning Thief
Teen Performance Track
Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM
Students spend their mornings attending classes in dance, acting, dynamics, and vocal performance. In the afternoon, students will rehearse for their show that will be performed during the 4th week of camp.
No audition is required for acceptance into this program, however students do have to audition for class placement and casting in the show.
Teen Dance Emphasis Track
Includes dance classes and rehearsals for the teen musical performance.
Includes dance classes only.
PMT Conservatory’s Summer Dance Emphasis Program is an audition based program designed for students 13 to 18 years of age who are focused on enhancing their dance training during our 4 week summer camp. This is an intensive program where students will dance for 3 hours a day, five days a week, and will study the fundamentals of Jazz, Ballet, Tap, and other Musical Theater style dance. During our 4th week of camp, the students will perform in a showcase to present what they have learned during the intensive.
All students who participate in our Dance Emphasis Program are also eligible to participate in our Teen Production.
An audition is required for acceptance into this program.
Teen Technical Theater & Design Track
Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM
PMT's Technical Theater and Design Program will provide students with a unique look behind the curtain. This program offers students in-classroom and hands on experiences in the full range of technical theater disciplines. Students will develop the skills needed to analyze text, create conceptual drawings and presentations, communicate their thoughts and ideas in a professional manner, and improve their teamwork skills.
Students will participate in a wide array of courses starting with the basics of design in set, lighting, costumes, sound, and properties. The program also includes courses designed to prepare students to communicate and collaborate with a team of designers. Hands on experiences will range from technical theater communication and safety to courses where students will learn carpentry, painting, sound editing software, sound console operation, the science of light and lighting, and programming industry standard lighting software. All of these courses will culminate in the student's ability to work alongside PMT's professional designers on student and professional company productions.
Students in the Technical Program must be available for all performance dates.
Preteen Performance Track
Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM

Broadway juniors Performance Track
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 10:30AM - 12:30PM
Students will study the basics of dance, acting, group voice, and rehearse for their show that will be performed during the last week of camp.
No audition is required for acceptance into this program.
