Counselor in Training may attend before and aftercare at no charge.
C.I.T.s (rising seventh through ninth graders) will develop and practice skills in leadership, critical thinking, communication, conflict resolution, and organization by working directly with camp teachers.
On a daily basis, C.I.T.s will be expected to:
Build relationships with campers and serve as a positive role model
Help camp teachers maintain a fun and safe environment
Demonstrate core camp values of respect, honesty, and kindness
Help facilitate and lead group activities in order to enhance their overall experience.
C.I.T.s are not required to complete First Aid and CPR, however you may contact Project Heartbeat or other certified First Aid and CPR facilities, in order for your C.I.T to complete the course.
Note : No camp on June 19th.
