La Plazita Community Building

La Plazita Community Building, LPCB, is dedicated to enriching the lives of children from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds in Oakland and the surrounding areas by providing educational, sports, cultural and art programs.

LPCB offers a low cost after school program for school age children that immerses children in the Spanish language while teaching them leadership skills, sports and arts enrichment activities.

We currently run the following programs out of the space:

• After School Program

• Spanish class for parents with child care

• Oaktown Ballers Softball and Baseball training facility

• Summer Camps

• Community Enrichment Classes such as dance and music

• Academic Enrichment

• Space rentals for events and classes
