What You'll Do
Outfit yourself for out-of-this-world fun with an awesome alien mask. Be Visionary as you imagine and craft every eye-catching element of your extraterrestrial. Experiment with paper-shaping techniques like fringe cutting and accordion folding to give it dimension and drama. Add eyes to peep through and a stick handle to transform it into a perfect prop for the photo booth—just strike a pose and say “green cheese”!
What You'll Need
Materials
- 1 thin-cardboard box (cereal or other food packaging) or piece of shirt cardboard, 5 x 8″ or larger
- Scissors – 3 sheets of standard-size copy paper
- Coloring tools (markers + crayons or colored pencils preferred)
- 1 pencil
- 1 stick-like object (craft stick, chopstick, unsharpened pencil)
- Tape (any type)
- Optional: colorful card-stock or construction paper
Technology
- Computer or tablet with speaker and camera
- Internet access
- Zoom application installed
- Signed in with your child’s name
- Unmuted (the instructor will manage class muting/unmuting)
