Explorers will explore Lake Merritt on a variety of vessels including pedal boats, dragonboats, kayaks, and canoes. Adventures will abound as they learn about maps, arts and crafts, and visit the local lakeside wildlife bird sanctuary and botanical gardens. Camp drop off is at 9 am and pickup is at 3:30 pm. Explorer Campers: Monday Morning only 9:00am - drop off your Explorer Camper at Temescal Swimming Pool at 371 45th St. near Broadway. No Monday Beforecare offered. Tuesday Through Friday: Bring your Explorer Camper to the Lake Merritt Boating Center (568 Bellevue Ave. within Lakeside Park) Explorer Classroom. No experience is needed.
