MIT App Inventor is an intuitive, visual programming environment that allows everyone to build fully functional apps for smart phones and tablets. The MIT App Inventor project seeks to move younger kids from technology consumer to technology creator. Blocks-based coding programs inspire intellectual and creative empowerment. Students will learn block-based tool that will facilitate the creation of complex, high-impact apps in significantly less time than traditional programming environments. Students will also learn core concepts of coding and will build multiple projects to share with world. Taught by Progressive Kids.
