Much Ado About Nothing - Virtual Staged Reading

Who needs a stage to do a staged reading?! While in-person rehearsals are a no-go, we can still work on skills and tools that are critical in the performing arts: vocal inflection, characterization, and facial expressions! In this session, actors will meet on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for three weeks to create a staged reading that will be recorded and shared on pytnet.org and social media channels. “Much Ado About Nothing” is one of Shakespeare’s most well known comedies, featuring quick wit, mistaken identity, evil plots, and in the end, a wedding. We will perform an abridged version of this five-act play.
