Family Nature Club, in partnership with L.A. Department of Recreation & Parks, explores nature beyond the Zoo! Join us for free nature play on the last Saturday of every month.
What
The Family Nature Club program hosts participants in a morning of loosely structured outdoor play, exploring nature through art, observation, and imagination. Activities include painting stations, crafts, a reading corner and story time, scavenger hunts, and more. This program is free of charge for participants.
Who
Families, caregivers, and children of all ages are welcome. No registration is required. Family Nature Club is facilitated by L.A. Zoo Learning & Engagement staff.
Special Needs
The Special Needs Outreach program was specifically created to connect the Zoo with members of the community who cannot easily visit and enjoy the Los Angeles Zoo in person.
