Did you know Kansas City is full of interesting military history? In Living History, you’ll take “armchair general” command of the forces of the Civil War as you learn about Battle of Westport, and then explore the actual battle site and museum. You’ll transform into a “Knight of the Sky,” as you combat your fellow campers in a tabletop version of aerial combat. Finally, campers will visit a highlight of Midwestern military history at the WWI Memorial, the country’s only museum dedicated to that conflict and truly a Kansas City exclusive.
