Gabriel Leggott, Nueva Middle School Science Teacher
Why are some frogs slimy? What makes a bat a mammal? How do insects breathe? In this animal exploration class students will explore these questions and many more. We will learn about mammals, reptiles, birds, fish, amphibians, and arthropods. Students will have the chance to hold or observe some of these animals. We will learn through playing games, watching nature documentaries, and exploring the Nueva campus. Students will assemble bottle biomes with isopods which will be taken home on the last day of school.
