For a math class that works with pretty shapes like circles and squares, geometry is deceptively difficult. It is the first math class that requires students to do this thing called “mathematical proofs.” You will learn odd rules like the one called “Side Angle Side.” No, this isn’t a dance move; it’s a method to determine if two angles are equal. After 30 classroom hours, you will be ready to take on the honors level of geometry.

- As one of our most customized class offerings, the course content is based on the California State Standards for Mathematics Bay Area’s local high school curriculum. This course is designed to teach students topics from Geometry Honor.
- Over the 15 sessions (2 hours/session), there will be two in-class quizzes and two take-home exams. Students will learn about: Logic, points, lines, planes, and angles, parallel lines and planes, polygons, congruent polygons, and parallelograms.
- To further tailor the course, our expert instructors select the learning activities to match the needs and goals of their students in each class. By the end of the course, students will be able to solve the geometry problems and apply it to the real world.
