Let’s get road ready! This level helps kids aged 4+ prepare to ride safely and confidently on the road by practicing with mock intersections and passing our road riding checklist.
Learning Outcomes
Kids will continue to practice and improve their steering skills and bike control. The primary focus for this level is to prepare kids for riding on the road: they will master riding in single file, shoulder checking, hand signals, and navigating intersections.
What to Bring
A bike in working order
A bike helmet
A water bottle
A nut-free snack
Closed toed shoes – running or athletic shoes are best
Comfortable clothes for a day of being physically active
Weather-appropriate clothing – rain gear, sweaters, etc.
Sunscreen and mosquito repellent - Please apply before camp. Sunscreen will only be reapplied in our full day programs unless requested otherwise by parents.
Any required medication, such as Epi-pen or puffers
A small backpack to hold all your child’s belongings
A nut-free lunch (all-day/combo camper)
Extra snacks (all-day/combo camper)
A change of clothes (all-day/combo camper)
This camp have both whole day and half-day sessions:
Whole Day - 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Half Day (Morning) - 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Half Day (Afternoon) - 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

We want to provide the Pedalheads experience to as many families as possible regardless of financial barriers. Our bursary/scholarship program gives families who would not otherwise be able to attend Pedalheads the opportunity to send their child to one of our programs.
