Welcome to the City of Boise’s Outdoor Summer Playcamps located in your neighborhood park! These weeklong day camps are offered to children going into 1st
-6
th grades. Playcamp activities are designed to encourage
healthy recreational play and meet the physical and social needs of your child. Camps run Monday–Friday from
7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. and offer recreational games, arts, crafts, environmental education, hands on science
projects, fieldtrips, and swimming. All camps will be Closed Monday, June 19, in observance of
Juneteenth and July 3 and 4 for Independence Day. Playcamp staff are trained on the principles of child
development and are CPR/First Aid certified to ensure your child has a safe and positive experience.
We encourage all parents to become familiar with the Playcamp procedures and to discuss the program rules
and expectations with their children. Creating a successful experience requires frequent and open
communication between staff and parents. If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s experience
