3D Printing and Modeling with Take-home Printer

Imagination meets manufacturing in this hands-on course where students learn how to design simple 3D models and prepare them for 3D printing. Learn how change the filament, maintain a 3D printer, and operate it safely. Make something from scratch or import a more intricate model to use as a starting point, then watch your creation come to life layer-by-layer and take it home!

Students will be given a voucher that will allow them to order a 3D printer free of charge if delivery is within the United States.

In this course, your student will:

  • Complete the entire 3D printing process
  • Use best practices for effective 3D print creation and troubleshooting prints
  • Work in 3D space and design 3D models
  • Develop visuospatial abilities.

Your student will take home:

  • Project files
  • 3D printed objects
  • Voucher for new Monoprice Select Mini 3D Printer V2

This course is perfect for students wanting a future in Design.

Day Camp

Check-in: Mon-Fri 8:30-9am.

Pick-up: Mon-Thu 5-5:30pm; Fri 3-4pm.
