Start your morning off with a POP! as we delve into the world of Pop Art. A clash of color and popular culture will collide in this POPular camp. With educators joining us from The Sprouting Image, our afternoons will be full of photography magic! We will learn the science behind manually controlling cameras, experiment with time and motion, and make unique works of art using shutter speed, aperture, and ISO! *Bring a camera if you have one, but we will have a table full of lenses and cameras to test out throughout the week.

Special Needs

Another way to help siblings is finding something you both like and can do together. . Many arts organizations are working toward integrating special needs people into their programming. KidsQuest is doing this through Low Sensory Evening, where children with sensory sensitivities can visit the museum. I encourage siblings to attend this with their parents and siblings. It may end up being something everyone can enjoy together.

Deals

KidsQuest offers scholarships for families in need. Families applying for scholarships must meet certain criteria including:

  • Income level must be at or below 200% of federal poverty guidelines
  • Families must have at least one child living in the household under age 8
  • Families must live within reasonable traveling distance from KidsQuest

KidsQuest realizes that all families in need may not meet the above guidelines. Please be sure to include a statement about why your family needs a scholarship and how your family will benefit. Applications that do not meet the above requirements will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
