Calming Corner
Located on the lower level, the Calming Corner is the perfect place for nursing mothers, children with special needs and other visitors who could use a soothing space away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the Museum.
The Calming Corner is a private room equipped with a glider and a multitude of quiet activities to soothe and engage children, including books, sensory games, toys and a calming 6-foot bubble tube. This space is the perfect respite for those who need a quiet moment.
Through The Magic House’s Access for All Initiative, we strive to ensure that children with the fewest opportunities and greatest needs have access to the unique exhibits and educational programs at The Magic House and The Magic House, MADE for Kids. Through the generosity of friends like you, The Magic House is able to provide free admission, memberships, field trips and other educational experiences to underserved children, families and schools.
