Does your student struggle to understand and remember what they read? During this camp campers will develop the skills they need to become better readers and more successful students. Campers will work in small groups to learn and practice simple, effective strategies that cross grade levels and subject areas. This camp brings together the expertise of an EC teacher and an English teacher.

This program is intended for ages 11-18 years.

Special Needs

Camp Corvian is a good fit for children who are able to

  • use the bathroom without assistance
  • transition between activities
  • exhibit self-control
  • be comfortable in small and large groups
  • function in noisy environments
  • follow verbal directions
  • remain in a designated area or with a designated group
