Our faculty fosters the young learner's curiosity and motivates a child's lifelong passion for learning. In preschool, children begin to question and observe. They use pre-writing, pre-reading and number sense to build their learning experiences.
As the children engage in learning activities, questions and observations form the basis for interaction with teachers and classmates. A piece of string might generate a conversation about lines; a student may find a wheel, which might lead to exploring why certain shapes roll and others do not. This exploration leads to transformative thinking. Every activity in our preschool classroom affords our faculty a new opportunity to assess student development and growth. Talking with students about play, work, drawings and feelings tells students how valuable they are.
On a daily basis, our faculty sparks curiosity and eagerness, initiative and persistence, problem-solving and reflection, and invention and imagination in the lives of each child who enters the classroom.
