Stories, poems, plays, character portraits, movies & memoir: these are just a few of the ways creative ideas can take shape when wandering into the expansive territory of imaginative writing! Join us for an artful investigation into every major creative writing genre, from fiction and poetry to memoir and screenwriting, in this four-day summer camp. We’ll engage in artistic exercises within each genre to learn foundational concepts, while applying new techniques to make our writing more artistic, unique and imaginative.

Special Needs

The Lighthouse building is accessible to people using wheelchairs. The main entrance to the building has an automated door opener. An elevator travels to all three floors of the building. Seating is wheelchair-accessible in Lighthouse classrooms, lounge/cafe spaces, and Beacon Hall. Lighthouse’s parking lot is accessible and includes designated disability parking spots by the south side of the building. Our public restrooms, lounges, cafe, and Beacon Hall are wheelchair-accessible.
