The 21st century has proven to be an era of immense technological change. Leadership roles have already shifted significantly as a result of these changes. A leader needs to be able to foster technological innovation, initiate and steer technological advances, and understand technological revolutions. This requires a leader to be excellent at technology and have great leadership skills at the same time!
This Tech Leadership program is designed for high school students who have different educational interests, whether they are in STEM, business, art, literature, or design. There is no previous experience needed in order to participate in the program.
It is a weekly program, where each week introduces the students to different concepts and ideas in leadership and technology. The leadership aspects consist of strategic planning, organizing, leading and communication. For the technological aspect, students will learn Holographic AR programming concepts and logic, and related science, engineering, and technology. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to dive right into the fun with younger campers, mentoring the next generation of Holographic AR creators.
Throughout the program, the high school students will be guided by outstanding mentors. These mentors come from great educational and professional practices and are experts at teaching students from different backgrounds.
High schoolers in this program will, at the end, receive a certification of accomplishment of the Tech Leadership Program, a recommendation letter from the camp director. Moreover, students will be awarded scholarships weekly, $100-$300 in check, depending on their achievements.
