Minecraft is a sandbox indie game wildly popular with kids where you dig (mine) and build (craft) minerals in a world filled with varying terrains and habitats. Python, with its clear readable code style is a great programming language for introducing kids to the basics of computers and programming.
This makes Minecraft with Python the perfect way to introduce children to programming as they learn how to make the gaming experience more exciting, creative, and individual. Instantly seeing a few lines of Python automate the complex and repetitive process of building huge structures has the child learning programming concepts in a fun and appealing way. Once they get the hang of it, there is no stopping their imagination as they get immersed in creating things even the creators of Minecraft didn’t think of.
