Oakland Parks Recreation and Youth Development Town After School program provides structured games and activities, homework assistance, STEAM Activities. Creative play is a center theme that focuses on developing much needed social and emotional skills. Cultural Awareness projects are provided to help participants explore diverse perspectives, ideas, beliefs and customs. OPRYD's Town After School Program is a place where every child has the opportunity to learn and explore in a safe and enriching environment. Our program is an extension of your child's school day experience and a part of your community. REMINDER: Program does not begin until August 14, 2023. 2023 / 2024 School Year Town After School Program Monthly Fees (based on number of school days in the month). August - $378 - 14 program days. September - $540 - 20 program days. No Program 9/4 (Labor Day), 9/16 (PD Day). October - $540 - 20 program days. No program 10/10 (Indigenous Peoples Day) November - $324 - 12 program days. No program 11/10 (Veterans' Day), 11/20-24 (Thanksgiving Break). December - $324 - 12 program days. No program Winter Break. January 2024 - $513 - 19 program days. No program 1/1 (New Year's), 1/3 (PD Day), 1/15 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day). February - $540 - 20 program days. No program 2/19 (President's Day). March - $621 - 23 program days. April - $378 - 14 program days. No program 4/1 (Cesar Chavez), Spring Break. May - $513 - 19 program days. Please note rates may change due to OUSD 2023 - 2024 school calendar.
