Club SciKidz was founded on the principle that parents want to provide their children with exciting, challenging, and life impacting academic experiences. We are committed to exposing children to the science and technology of today and tomorrow! Club SciKidz has been a recognized name in delivering quality science and enrichment activities for over 18 years. We believe that every child is a scientist, and we can make them even better scientists. Our camps for grades Pre-K and Kindergarten offer experiments and projects in science, technology, and engineering.
Are Club SciKidz camps appropriate for children with special needs?
Club SciKidz instructors are trained to handle special circumstances to a limited extent. We have found that if children are able to function without an aide or assistance at school, they generally do very well at camp. Please feel free to share any helpful tips or accommodations that have helped your child be successful at school with your child’s camp director.
If your child does require an aide or other assistance at school, you must ensure that an aide accompanies your child to camp. All aides must be at least 18 years of age and not related to the camper. Over the years we have had many children with special needs and they usually do very well. However, if for some reason it is determined that camp is not a suitable for your child, the total tuition for camp is non-refundable per our cancellation policy. Every year, Club SciKidz Dallas makes available a number of scholarships for our camps with our two different scholarship programs: the Shelby Jean Scholarship and the MJ Graves Scholarship. One scholarship application per family, please!
The Shelby Jean Scholarships are awarded to families that need financial assistance providing the camp experience for their children. Please click HERE for the application.
The MJ Graves Scholarship is a scholarship awarded to a camper interested in attending a video game/coding themed camp.
