Get Ready for 8th Grade in Our Summer Program
Our summer program provides a proven path for middle schoolers to improve key skills, increase confidence, and develop the motivation to read more. Click on the building blocks below to explore all the ways your son or daughter will benefit from this engaging, effective program.
This 5-Week Summer Program Includes:
- In-person weekly classes to engage your son or daughter
- A dedicated and knowledgeable reading teacher
- Outstanding novels at the right level of challenge*
- Interactive skill lessons and activities between classes
- Personal support with 1-1 appointments and an exclusive helpline
Students increase their reading speed and comprehension in fiction. They also learn essential skills for academic success in 8th grade, including nonfiction and study skills. Our program combines weekly in-person classes led by expert teachers with structured interactive lessons and guided activities between classes. We offer two Summer sessions, each with its own curriculum, unique skill lessons, and age-appropriate books.
