The Fresno State "AI in Transportation" Summer Camp is an innovative program tailored for high school students in the San Joaquin Valley. This camp offers an exciting blend of STEAM sessions that dive deep into the world of artificial intelligence as it revolutionizes transportation. Students will engage in hands-on programming and data analytics activities, exploring real-world applications from optimizing traffic flow to logistics and supply chains to designing smart transportation systems. The camp also features educational field trips to local transportation hubs and tech companies, providing a glimpse into future careers and technologies. Group projects will challenge students to solve transportation challenges using AI, fostering teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills. This unique opportunity not only prepares students for a tech-driven future but also ignites their passion for innovation in one of Fresno's key growth areas. Students will depart from MLK at 8:15 am. District transportation is provided from all elementary sites.
