Counselor in Training (CIT)

The Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program is designed for teens ages 13 to 16, focusing on leadership, responsibility, time management, and teamwork. Participants will support recreation staff at one of our two summer day camps: Camp Quest or Camp Elevate. Each week, CITs will gain hands-on experience by planning and leading an activity for campers under the close guidance of camp staff. Online applications are due April 18, 2025.

Program Timeline

April 4, 2025 - Begin accepting Applications and Reference Forms April 18, 2025 - Application and Reference Forms submission closed April 28 - May 2, 2025 - Potential CIT interviews held in afternoon May 9, 2025 - Selected CITs announced via email May 12, 2025 - Open registration for selected CITs only June 13, 2025 - Mandatory CIT Training

Please Note:

• No camp held on 7/4.
• Campers should bring a lunch, snack, water bottle, and sunscreen.
• No refrigeration or microwave available during camp.
• On-site swim days will be on Fridays.
