Introduction To Broadcasting

The class will introduce students to the basics of radio and television broadcasting. Students will have the opportunity to learn introductory journalism and technological skills to be used in future career choices. Students will prepare recorded and live radio and television productions for various audiences. Students will participate in hands-on reporting assignments. Students will conduct research, write and produce independent productions. This course is a foundational course for future potential RHS broadcasting ventures/courses.
