The Recreation of City Kids (R.O.C.K.) Afterschool Program offers a safe and supportive environment for youth to participate in healthy recreation and play, enrichment and STEAM activities, and receive homework assistance.
Additional fees may apply for late pick-ups, field trips, sports leagues, special events, and families who live outside of the City of San Jose. There is an additional registration and fee for TK/Kinder early release activity number 252.5.1212
Scholarships are awarded as funding is available. Completion of the scholarship application does not guarantee approval of a scholarship.
The R.O.C.K. Afterschool program @ Almaden Simonds is only intended for students enrolled at Simonds Elementary.

The Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services (PRNS) Scholarship Program will ensure that qualifying San José residents have affordable access to participation in PRNS programs, classes and services. All requests are subject to available funding. Eligibility requirements may differ for each scholarship.
