Afterschool Ukulele Class

Our Ukulele Class is a fun introduction to the ukulele, designed specifically for K-8th graders. The ukulele – also known as “the instrument of peace” – is a great instrument to begin studying music, especially for smaller hands! In this class students will learn an assortment of chords, a variety of finger picking and strumming styles, and will learn to play (and sing along to!) several well-known songs. Each student will have their own soprano ukulele and lesson book (we use the most well-regarded and child friendly ukulele method). And parents will receive updates after each class from MySkillChart, which tracks individual student progress through Hummingbird’s curriculum. $50 per class.
