Summer Art Club: Travel the World Through Art

Calling all young artists! Join us for a road trip around the world through art. In this class students will learn about a different art tradition from around the world each week and create inspired artworks based on their learning. Over the four weeks students will travel to India to learn about relief block printing, Greece to learn about pottery, France to try their hand at plein air painting, Ghana to make their own batik fabrics, papel picado paper cutting from Mexico, and much more. In this jet-setting art class students will learn about new techniques and traditions and go home with a beautiful portfolio of artwork as a souvenir from their travels.

This program is intended for ages 5 to 18.
