Sally Ride Science Academy, Summer STEAM

UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies offers Sally Ride Science Academy, which hosts creative and hands-on workshops that explores the areas of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM). During the two-week duration of the program, grade 3 through 8 students can take part of multiple workshops that deal with exciting STEAM subjects such as video game design, space exploration, ocean science, screenwriting, programming, and more. Sally Ride Science offers around 27 different workshops to Level Up SD students, ensuring that each child enjoys an experience that aligns with their interests.
