NTPA’s vision is to light the passion of the performing arts for our youth, and ensure all youth have the opportunity for the profound experience of taking the stage and having their voices heard.
Through our newest program, NTPA Deaf Theatre, we will continue to expand our mission by promoting equal access to theatre and the performing arts to Deaf and hard of hearing youth, while encouraging diversity, equity, education and social inclusiveness at NTPA.
NTPA Starcatchers is a therapeutic theater program for children and adults with a variety of developmental, cognitive, emotional, and physical disabilities. In this program, students are given opportunities to shine through drama, music, dance, and visual art. These opportunities range from large theatre productions to intimate art classes and include people of all ages. The Starcatchers believe that the future of the performing arts is accessible to all.
Scholarships are considered on a rolling basis when funding is available. Scholarship funds are limited and depending on the source of the funds, may be available only for residents of certain cities or counties, casting demands of a script, or selected classes.
