Jumping rope is an amazing cardiovascular exercise which also helps to improve coordination, cognitive function, muscle tone and bone density. Affordable, compact and portable, it is also a great tool to supplement other athletics.
In this class we will learn basic jump technique along with footwork and basic tricks, working toward building our endurance. There will also be an introduction to the basics of team exercises including long rope and double dutch. Music will be a big part of this class, so come ready to enjoy! Please wear comfortable, supportive tennis shoes, comfortable clothing and bringing a jump rope is optional. Ropes are provided.
