What is a Pre-K Meet-Up?
In Girl Scouts, girls take part in activities related to our traditions, life skills, STEM, the outdoors, entrepreneurship, and much more!
At the Pre-K Meet-Up, girls entering Kindergarten will attend virtual Girl Scout troop meetings with other girls their age and experience a sample of what Girl Scouts has to offer. They will have the opportunity to earn their very first Girl Scout patch and participate in some Girl Scout traditions, in a fun, supportive environment with their Girl Scout sisters and GSNorCal staff members.
What are the benefits?
Research shows that Girl Scouts helps girls grow in confidence. Plus, by attending our Pre-K meet-ups, you’ll get to see the positive impact of Girl Scouts before joining a troop in your community this fall.
Meeting Schedule (6 sessions) Tuesdays from 4 pm–4:30 pm:
June 9, 16, 23, 29 and July 7, 14
You are welcome to join any time and attend all or just a few meetings. You only need to register once to be invited to the remainder of the meet-ups.
We understand that the COVID-19 pandemic has stopped many girls from participating in-person in activities they love. Pre-K Meet-Ups give your girl the opportunity to connect with others, build valuable life skills, and have fun this summer!
If you have an older girl in Grades K-5 (2019-2020 school year) who is new to Girl Scouts, we recommend that you join our Virtual Welcome Troop.
Girls and families need the support, consistency, and community Girl Scouts of Northern California can provide, now more than ever. Check out the Girl Scouts at Home webpage for additional resources and information on supporting girls.
**For the safety of our girls, we will send you a link to the Zoom meeting once you are registered.
