Achievers Summer Camps are offered from June 15th - Aug 28th from 8 am - 6 pm.
Each week, campers will immerse themselves into STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematical) bases activities with a new theme each week.
Achievers ‘Steam it up’ camp gives children the opportunity to do all of the summer funergy towards learning something new each day, making new friends and having a total blast this summer. Their daily routine is structured with plenty of Steam-based planned hands-on activities and games. All activities are designed in line with different age groups and learning capabilities; both physical and mental. This camp aims for children to open up, learn new skills, work independently as well as in a team, in a pressure-free & secure setting.
With weekly field trips, Fun Friday dress-up themes and a weekly visit to the park and Fremont library, children will enjoy the benefits of both being inside and outside.
Week 1 - June 15th-19th
Camp Grow (Nature & Gardening)
Campers will learn about farming and home gardening and feel close to nature. Exposing children to farming/ home gardening gives them an understanding of food and improves their relationship with it. This week they will get their hands dirty, dig in and grow their own herbs & vegetables. Campers will work together to brainstorm ways they can keep the Earth clean and beautiful while tending to a garden that they build together.

Week 2 - June 22nd -26th
The Makers Lab
This week is all about designing and making! Kids will be using STEAM principles to build engineer-designed projects such as rocket cars, race balloons, constructing towers & bridges and much more. We will be learning about the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of each design and experiment using real-world examples for a deeper understanding of the scientific principles applied.

Week 3 - June 29th - July 2nd
Mother Earth
This week at Achievers, we focus on ways to eliminate waste and protect our environment. Kids will learn fun and alarming facts, knowledge of how and why we recycle, how it happens, what to recycle and how much energy it can save. They will learn about small things they can incorporate in their routine that will make a great difference to our environment in the long run. They will engage in activities and projects like making recycled paper that involves reusing and upcycling things of no use and turning them into pieces of art or of use. The ultimate goal for this camp is to make kids' environment smart and ingrain a sense of appreciation and defense for their natural resources.
Children will also put up a lemonade stand at Lake Elizabeth to spread awareness about what they learned about recycling.
Highlight: An interactive show/presentation by zunzun about water preservation on June 30th.
Week 4 - July 6th - 10th
Rainforest Connection
Kids will transform their whole work area into a mystifying rainforest. They will learn about the importance of rainforests and how we can work together to save it. Campers will learn about water preservation through various hands-on activities and art projects like making rainsticks. This week, campers will be going on a nature walk to explore the beauties of the outdoors and learn about the local flora & fauna.

Week 5 - July 13th - 17th
All Around the World
This week the campers will go on a world trip - all expenses paid :). They will all get their passports stamped and embark on a journey where they visit a different country focusing on a different continent each day. They will visit and get a glimpse into a country’s culture, language, food, sports & music. They will also enjoy a craft pertaining to that country. Friday will be the day of the world cultures party!

Week 6 - July 20th - 24th
The Countryside
This week we are going to get a glimpse of the countryside. Campers will explore the farm life while learning about the animals on the farm. They will make their very own farm animal hand puppets and put them into action during this week’s puppet show.
Performance: Friday kids will perform the puppet show.
Week 7 - July 27th - 31st
The Ocean Awaits
The surface might be calm but there is a whole new world to explore underneath. This week campers will dive down deep with us as we explore the bodies of water around the world and what lies beneath their surface! Kids will learn about life underwater and Campers will learn about underwater animals and make octopus mobiles, underwater viewers, whale friends, and an entire ocean in a bottle.

Week 8 - Aug 3rd - 7th
Geology Rocks!
This week, the kids will step into the world of fossils, minerals, and rocks. They will put their geologist hats on and get inquisitive about volcanoes, dinosaurs and the layers of soil. The projects will include making their own crystals to uncovering dinosaur fossils to erupting volcanoes!
Carnival: The kids will participate in a carnival at Lake Elizabeth and enjoy ice-cream truck on a hot summer day!
Week 9 - Aug 10th - 14th
Step into Space
Outer space is a fascinating avenue to explore for all age groups. This week campers will propel into the enchanting galaxy and learn concepts, experiment via making models! They will make rocket ships & telescopes and view the vast skies from a whole different perspective! They will work as a team and put their innovative minds at work to create their very own solar system learning more about planets, stars and the galaxy on their way.

Week 10 - Aug 17th - 21st
Yoga & Mindfulness
This last week of summer, children will reconnect with themselves with yoga, meditation & mysticism. Campers will learn the art of being still, balanced, flexible, focussed and being well in body & mind. They will calm the bustling pace of energetic summer and gather their energies to focus on the fresh start of the school year.
