This course focuses on Abstract Expressionism and artists that best represent this type of art. Students define abstraction in terms of color, line, form, and process as they evaluate key abstract movements. Learn to “see’, appreciate, and be inspired by their work. Students use this to create, and give meaning to their own work, in the spirit of the abstract expressionists. Projects utilize a number of different materials with acrylic paint as the primary medium.
