Bienvenido Español is an introductory class where students will learn greetings and introductions, the alphabet, personal information (name, address, telephone number), colors, formal and informal ways of addressing people, numbers from 0 to 100, as well as basic grammar: number and gender, definite and indefinite, demonstrative; personal and interrogative pronouns; present tense of basic verbs like ser, estar, trabajar, gustar; and Quantifiers (muy, bastante, poco). Students will also explore Spanish culture through music and art. With a philosophy of multiple intelligences, the teaching method will be varied using students' visual, musical, motor and auditory skills through games, songs, readings, conversations, and daily practices.
