Students will learn elements of both journalistic writing and public speaking, with speeches simulating broadcast journalism.
Students will learn how to write and deliver spoken stories about people (interviews with classmates) and events. They will finish the class by writing and delivering a persuasive (opinion-editorial) argument for change. Throughout the course, students
will learn the value and methods of peer review and use these to provide feedback to their classmates.

- Class Information: - Classes run Mondays - Thursdays. No class on Fridays except for the week of July 2-6.
