The USA Computing Olympiad (USACO) provides a programming contest where you can earn different medals by achieving a top score. Ultimately, the top students form the USA team and goes on to compete internationally. This is one of the most prestigious and challenging programming competitions.
The programming problems are algorithmic in nature and involves math and data structures. The problems can be solved with any modern programming language. In this course, we will be using Java. It is expected that you know Java and are familiar with all of the fundamentals of this language. It will NOT require knowledge of object-oriented principles.
This course will train you to solve problems at the Silver level.
Prerequisites: Completed at least up to Java Programming 2. It is highly recommended that you pass the USACO Bronze level.
