Join us for the timeless "tail" of friendship and belonging THE RAINBOW FISH! This large cast adaptation by Austin Zumbro is based on the popular children's book of the same title by Marcus Pfister. Performers will sing, dance, and act in this play with music from the safety and comfort of their own homes via password protected Zoom meetings. Together, we will create a video of the production to share with friends and family. Note: this production does not feature a live performance element.
THE RAINBOW FISH is open to actors ages 5 to10-years olds, but this registration level is for 7 to 10-year olds, only. Actors at this level will be asked to record a short video audition and submit it by May 22 to assist with casting. The first 30 who sign up will be cast provided that they have fewer than two (2) conflicts. Actors with more than two conflicts may still be cast if the director can work around the conflicts. All actors cast at this level are guaranteed a speaking role.
Rehearsals will be held Monday-Friday 4:00pm - 5:30pm June 1, 2020 – June 19, 2020. Actors will only be required to attend rehearsals when they are needed. The video of the production will be released on June 26.
All props and costumes will be created by the performers and their families at home using items found around the house with guidance from the director.
