Do you have an idea for a social enterprise (project or business that benefits the community and makes money) that you are interested in developing over the next 12 months?

The Yearlong Fellowship includes:
- 4 months of weekly social enterprise training to develop a business model, strategy and pitch (professional presentation) for your own social enterprise
- Professional adult mentorship
- Free access to your own co-working space and office amenities Monday through Friday 12-8pm (use of computers, internet, media equipment, and space to work on projects, meet with clients & mentors, etc.)
- A pitch event, where you will present your social enterprise proposal with access to at least $1000 in seed funding and volunteer support from professionals
- 7 months of follow up coaching, training and networking events
Your One Year Commitment:
- Attend Youth Hub Fellowship Launch Ceremony: December 7 6-8pm
- Attend Pre-Program Retreat: 10am-6pm January 6 & 7 2018
- Attend Workshops: Every Tuesday evening, January 9th through May 14 5:30-8pm.
- Attend Pitch event: May 19, 2018 12pm-5pm
- Attend Follow up monthly trainings (first tuesdays of each month, June - December 2018 5:30-8pm)
- Complete assignments between workshops (at least 2 hours per week). If you do not complete assignments, you must attend work sessions Thursdays from 5:30-8pm.

Our youth programs are conducted in English. We have some staff that speak Spanish, but we don't offer instruction in Spanish.

United Roots is a wheel-chair accessible facility. However, our youth programs do not have interpreters for deaf people or materials for blind people. United Roots does not have the ability to serve young people with severe mental or emotional needs.
