Ballet is the foundation of dance technique. It develops grace, flexibility, strength and balance. Emphasis is placed upon learning proper posture, body movement and artistic expression. Ballet may be taken by itself or as an additional weekly fundamental class to support another dance style.
Tap develops aerobic fitness and muscle control while challenging students to create rhythmic patterns with their feet. Emphasis is placed on beat, timing and rhythm. Students learn basic foot and body movements, slowly building to more complex combinations.
