Children will enjoy unleashing their "creative selves" during this summer session. They will have the opportunity to build, paint, and sculpt using a variety of fun and unusual materials. We will make glow-in-the-dark slime, create calming lava lamps, design wearable art with tie dye, and experiment with magnet painting. Children will become junior architects as they build skyscrapers with toothpicks, bridges with popsicle sticks, and even construct their own snack-able structures. Utilizing "tinker trays" of loose parts, children will tinker, assemble, and reassemble their own inventions, and investigate magnetism using nuts, bolts, and screws, Our Clever Creators will celebrate the conclusion of this fun session with water play and popsicles on the big lawn.
During the day, the children will also have plenty of opportunity to work with the Montessori materials during free work time guided by our Montessori-trained teachers.
